CDe object is a simple <div> defined in s_StdPageEdit form. A suspect is the content of CDe object has become unchangeable somehow (IE's bug, etc.).
One thing to try is typing the following at the bottom of console (the first tab at the right in script debugging screen) and hiting Enter, once the debugger stops at the error:
var CDe = document.createElement('div')
CDe object will be replaced with a new <div>. If you hit F5 after then, your disclaimer may be successfully inserted. If it happens, try changing Btw() function in s_StdPageEditCodeSubForm subform, replacing CRM("ConvertDiv") with document.createElement('div'). There are two places like that. The problem may be solved by that, and if so, entering a PMR would be a good idea. Support may ask for VMWare image to determine the right solution from their perspective, and it'd be nice if you can do so.
